The Augusta Eagles' 2011-2012 basketball schedule will be published this week. The opening games are less than ten weeks away. Between now and the beginning of November, we will be publishing video highlights of last season and previews of the upcoming season. This week, we spotlight the boys varsity team's success in the 2010-2011 East Coast Homeschool Basketball Championships at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Thirty-two teams from ten states competed, and after winning five consecutive games, the Eagles won the Championship Trophy. Each day this week we will publish highlights of one of the games per the following schedule:
Monday: Augusta Eagles vs FFAI Defenders (Iowa) - Pool Game
Tuesday: Augusta Eagles vs Lighthouse Eagles (NC) - Pool Game
Wednesday: Augusta Eagles vs Richmond Spirit (VA) - Pool Game
Thursday: Augusta Eagles vs CVHAA Patriots (VA) - Semifinal Game
Friday: Augusta Eagles vs Lynchburg Patriots (VA) - Championship Game
