Eagles to Face Patriots in Championship Game

The Augusta Eagles (GA) will play the CVHAA (Central Virginia) Patriots in the championship game of the 2011 East Coast Tip Off Classic.  The game will be played tonight at 7:30 P.M. at the Greensboro College Gymnasium in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The Eagles and the Patriots each advance to the final game after defeating pool opponents by large margins.  The matchup is a repeat of the semifinal contest between the two teams in last season's East Coast Homeschool Basketball Championships in Lynchburg, Virginia.  The Eagles defeated the Patriots 49-48 in that game before moving on to win the tournament.

"We were very fortunate to win that game.  CVHAA has a great team.  They are very skilled and they have a lot of size.  This season, their key players return and they are going to be very good," Eagles Coach Chad Cook said after Saturday afternoon.
