A Washington County Golden Hawks fan posted this link on our Facebook wall. Allisha Gray, Washington County's junior leader, is one of the nation's best basketball players. The list of Gray's accomplishments is long. But the linked article from ESPN High School Hoops does a good job of summarizing Gray's on and off court success. And the Augusta Basketball Report also provides a video (below) for readers who want to see the many things Gray does well on the basketball court.
We will be providing live video and scoring updates throughout the Golden Hawks semifinal game against North Hall tomorrow (Friday) at 4 P.M.
Hello, I'm a proud aunt of one of the team member of Washington County Lady Hawks. I met Allisha Gray for the first time during their game against Monroe and her spirit is just as awesome as her playing. This young lady is so deserving of this honor and her parents Kudos to you all as well. You took a chance and that chance carried you all to FREE MONEY. I say that because Allisha will receive many scholarships for her basketball playing and academics abilities. WAY TO GO LADY HAWKS!
I REMEMBER WATCHING ALLISHA GRAY AS A LITTLE GIRL WHEN HER FATHER WAS A COACH DURING SOME OF THEIR PRACTICES SHE ALWAYS HAD A BASKETBALL IN HER HAND. SHE COMES FROM A GOOD STOCK OF BASKETBALL PLAYING PARENTS AND SIBLING I CAN SAY WE CAN EXPECT SEEING HER IN THE WNBA WITHIN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS,,,IF SHE DOESNT GET ANY BIDS STRAIGHT OUTTA HIGH SCHOOL....GO LADY HAWKS.
