Special Update: Grovetown vs Cross Creek (Halftime)

We have spotted something relatively rare in the first half of the Monterrey Holiday Tournament matchup between Grovetown and Cross Creek: impressive post play!  Before getting too excited, understand that Grovetown sophomore Juwann Rouse and Cross Creek junior Vincent Norris are probably no taller than 6'4" and 6'2" respectively.  But watching these players consistently use their bodies, footwork, and shooting touch effectively in the paint has been fun.

Today's brand of basketball has often been called a "guard's game."  But Norris, Rouse, and the teammates who are willing to be patient enough to find them in the paint, are showing the benefits of good, "old fashioned" post play.  See for yourself in the video above.
