Thoughts from Tuesday: Westside Lady Patriots

After reporting on the strong start of Laney's girls, my thoughts turn immediately turn to another class AA team returning many key players from a team that made a deep playoff run last season.

The Lady Patriots are fundamentally sound and very unselfish.  Forwards Azia Gibson and Jahmia Bradley are very effective around the basket.  But they are also comfortable on either end of the screen and roll on the perimeter.  And guard Christina Thomas is a very good playmaker who puts teammates into position to score.
