Pick and Roll Series: Part 1 (Phoenix Suns)

This video, taken from the "basketball breakdowns" channel on youtube.com, does a fine job of illustrating and explaining how the best players in the world use the pick and roll to find great scoring opportunities.

It would certainly be difficult for high school or college basketball players to emulate Steve Nash (watch his ball handling, passing, and scoring skills with the weak hand) and the Suns.  But it is beneficial to see the execution of the best players in the world.  In the next few days, I plan to post footage of high school teams using the pick and roll to look at the different ways teams can benefit by using this offensive action:  I will call this series of posts the "Pick and Roll Series."
