State Championship Saturday

Today, the Laney Wildcats and the Washington County Golden Hawks will compete for the Class AA and Class AAA state tournament titles, respectively.  The Wildcats face the Manchester Blue Devils at 4:45 P.M., and the Lady Hawks will face the Columbia Eagles at 7 P.M.

The Augusta Basketball Report will "live blog" the games at augustabasketball.com, providing live updates, real time highlights, and commentary.  We are also lining up interviews during the games with key members of the extended Laney, Washington County, and greater Augusta, Georgia, area basketball communities.

We will provide more information later today about how fans can use our site, our Facebook page (Facebook.com/augbball), and Twitter hashtags (#WildcatNation and #WACOGrayOut) to show support for, and to stay informed about, their beloved teams.
