After viewing these highlights of 3rd team NAIA All American (and Augusta native) PJ Meyers, a local high school player's comment captures the excitement that comes in Meyers' 5'8" frame: "He did all that in one game?"
The excitement that PJ Meyers generates on a basketball court is best captured by the comment of a local high school basketball player after seeing these highlights: "He did all that in one game?!"
Life University's 3rd team NAIA All American scored over 24 points per game as a senior, and the Augusta native is pursuing a professional basketball career.
During Episode 2 of ABR TV, titled "Where are they now?: PJ Meyers," we analyze the high scoring guard's game and his progress from the time when he was a rising high school junior (2006) to his noteworthy senior season (2012) at Life University.
Enjoy the episode (directly below). And the young man who could not believe what PJ did in the game referenced in the link above would probably even more surprised by the excitement packed into the February 16, 2012, contest between Life University and Vorhees (shown at the bottom of this post). During this game, Meyers scores the team's final 8 points in the game's final minute to secure the Life victory.
