The Nike EYBL Finals at the Peach Jam returns to our area July 18, and the Augusta Basketball Report will broadcast games live on our iHigh channel (ihigh.com/augustabasketball).  To prepare our viewers, we are offering special programming about the teams involved in this prestigious tournament.

No team is more interesting to us than the Southern Stampede 16 & Under squad. The team is regarded as the 6th best team in the nation in its age group by Five Star Basketball.  And the Stampede call Augusta home.  Head coach Mike Stokes is the first guest of the first episode of "ABR TV," a new initiative from the Augusta Basketball Report.

Episode 1 is divided into three parts (all three are presented below).  Here is an outline of what to expect:

Part 1 - Team History, including video clips and commentary.

Part 2 - Stokes discusses the overtime loss to Team Takeover (ranked #1 in the nation), and Stokes discusses Stampede wings Ahmed Hill, Jakeenan Gant, and Elijah Staley.

Part 3 - Stokes discusses Stampede guards Marcus Stroman, Michael Scott, and Jerad Coleman, as well as center Cedric Turman.  Stokes also discusses the team's preparation for July's tournament schedule.
