Thanksgiving Classic Notes: Butler Bulldogs

Game 2:  Butler defeats Osborne
As you can see from the post game interview, Butler coach Cervantes Boddy wants to see a significant improvement from today's performance.  But to the casual observer, Butler looked very good today.

6'6" senior Ronald Jones (18 pts, 12 reb, 8 blocks) dominated the paint, particularly in the game's first half.  And he showed his versatility, knocking down jumpers and working with his back to the basket.

Dontae Coleman (25 pts, 12 reb) lived in the paint in transition and in the half court set.  Coleman used the hesitation dribble effectively and showed he can drive and finish with either hand.

And senior point guard Marquis Leverette (15 pts, 9 reb) impressively ran the offense, distributed the basketball to the right people in the right places, and scored efficiently.

Tomorrow's match up with Laney should be very exciting!
