Thoughts from Tuesday: Aquinas' Backcourt Combo

I have been blogging a lot about good guard play lately.  See the "most dangerous backcourt I've seen," Butler's high scoring duo, Irmo's Mckie and Browning, GAIS's Crown and Miller, and "the trio from across the border" for examples.

No backcourt within eyesight of the ABR Live crew has more talent than Michael Scott and Ahmed Hill of Aquinas.  Both juniors, I hesitate to place them ahead of Keenan High School's Stroman and Hopkins because of Keenan's history of success (the Raiders have won the state championship two of the last three years).  But the highlights below from Tuesday's win over Athens Academy and from last week's season opening win against Jenkins County show what these junior guards are capable of doing.  We look forward to watching the Fighting Irish Friday versus Richmond Academy.
