Aiken Improves to 4-1 with Home Win Over Region Rival
Aiken held region rival South Aiken to 12 first half points before coasting to a 59-43 victory at home Tuesday night. The Hornets improved to 4-1 in region competition. South Aiken's region record now stands at 2-3.
Hornets' sharp shooter Shawn Moore did the job on both ends, scoring 22 points and holding South Aiken's primary offensive threat, guard Jordan Dingle, to zero points in the first half. Senior Dramel Coleman added 12 points in the victory. Dingle scored 12 points, all in the second half, to lead South Aiken.
