Evans Coasts Past Greenbrier to Remain Unbeaten in Region Play

Greenbrier's task of attaining its first sub region victory on the road at undefeated (in region play) Evans in front of the Knights' notoriously rowdy student section proved to be too tall of a task Tuesday night.  With the 54-41 victory, Evans improves to 16-4 overall and 4-0 in sub region play.

After a close first half that ended with a K'lon Lovette three pointer that gave Evans a 25-20 lead, the Knights pulled away.  Evans outscored Greenbrier 20-9 during the third quarter.  Senior post player Jacob Buchanan led the way with 16 points, and the long list of shooters on the Knights' roster combined to make 7 three pointers.

Justin Hartfield scored 18 points in defeat.  The Knights will host rival Lakeside Friday.  Greenbrier will face Grovetown.
