Hornets to Face another Power in "Border Bash" Game

Border Bash (Fall League Style!) Preview

I've been told that Georgia hosts South Carolina in a college football game Saturday.  We at the Fall League believe we will witness the real "Border Bash" at Evans High School Saturday when the ABR Live Open SC team battles with the Hornets and the Thunder.

The Hornets are one buzzer beating three pointer away from sporting a 2-0 Fall League record.  Evans guards Patrick Lawrence and Kameron Mason have been outstanding.  And they will be tested by two of the league's most talented teams:  ABR Open SC and the Thunder.

ABR Open SC mostly consists of players from the South Carolina side of the border.  North Augusta's Malik Dunbar and Christian Davis, Fox Creek's Marques Sumner, and Augusta Christian's Jordan Dingle combine to make a formidable group.  And the Thunder is led by Westside's Quinton Phillips, who looks poised to follow up a good sophomore season with an even better junior campaign.

This is the schedule for these "Border Bash" games at Evans High School:

12 P.M. - Thunder (0-2) vs Bulls (0-1)
1 P.M. - Hornets (1-1) vs ABR Open SC (4-1)
3 P.M. - Thunder (0-2) vs ABR Open SC (4-1)
4 P.M. - Hornets (1-1) vs Bulls (0-1)

The full Fall League schedule can be found at the bottom of this post.  And enjoy the "Border Bash Preview" (above).
