The GAIS Eagles advanced to the second round of the Fall League varsity tournament with a 48-34 win Thursday over Supersonic. The Eagles lone returning starter, 6'7" freshman TJ Massenburg led the way, scoring from all angles and dominating the glass. Massenburg's newest teammates, Jaylan Robinson and Daquarius Johnson (featured here), consistently disrupted the Supersonic offense, causing turnovers that led to easy baskets. Lakeside High School transfer Taylor Murdock and returning Eagles Jonathan Pye, Jordan Pye, and Michael Green also made key contributions.
