Augusta Eagles 64, Fox Creek 58A strong start and a strong finish led to a victory in the Eagles first scrimmage. Although the Eagles lost the rebounding and turnover battle by a wide margin, they were able to shoot 55% from the field (versus 28% for Fox Creek). Excellent shot selection and teamwork led to great scoring opportunities for Matthew Miller (27 points), Austin Crown (16 points), and Nathaniel Crown (13 points). Austin Crown also contributed 7 assists. Kip Custer came up with big rebounds in the second half and made a big basket to put the game out of reach late in the 4th quarter.
