Cross Creek Digs Deep to Overcome Hephzibah

Cross Creek did its part to ensure that the top of the sub region 3B-AAAA's standings are sufficiently crowded with a 50-41 come-from-behind home win over Hephzibah Wednesday.  The win, combined with Burke County and Butler's recent wins and Glenn Hills' loss to Butler, creates a three way tie between Cross Creek, Butler, and Burke County at 3-2.  At the half way point of the sub region regular season schedule, Glenn Hills remains in the top spot, one game ahead of the second place teams.

After trailing 11-2 early and 25-11 at halftime, the Razorbacks stormed back to narrow the lead to 29-28 after three quarters.  Having gained the momentum, Cross Creek captured an early fourth quarter lead after Maurice Berry's three pointer.

Treaire Moore led Cross Creek with 12 points.  Hephzibah's Tamyrick Fields scored 18 in the losing effort.
